During my internship at Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation, a nonprofit in Geneva, IL, dedicated to supporting positive child development and fostering non-violent family environments, I had the opportunity to design their Annual Report for their yearly charity event and create a flyer for their weekly meetings. As my first client in my Graphic Design career, this experience taught me invaluable skills in client interaction—from understanding their vision and goals to working with feedback and navigating design restrictions. It was a foundational experience that shaped my approach to client relationships and effective communication.
